Both these websites are for sports, they provide users with latest sports news. They are user friendly, with each latest headline has a link for further reading.

ii)Customer-centered services

  • www.marksandspencer.com-this is an online buying shop, users can make order of products they want.
  • emirates telecommunication corporation(www.etisalat.ae/)-a communication service provider, which its mission is to satisfy customer requirements in telecommunication services and technology in a friendly and efficient manner.

These websites are more based in satisfying customer needs and wants. They make sure that their customers get what they want.


iii) Value-added services

  • Global learning-provides free, web based center and computer training for beginners.
  • Web conferencing central-low cost online meeting tool for e-learning, sales presentation and documentation collaboration
these websites are providing value added services because they are not just providing a form of basic service but rather add value total service offering.

Conclusion

Foundational service websites are more into providing information to users to increase their knowledge about something, they can mostly used for doing research. Then we have those websites, which are concern about their targeted group or their customers, they try to do everything possible to satisfy them, these are called Customer-centered services. As for value added services, they are not just providing basic service, but to a certain extent trying to offer a total concept of worth.
